No Better Guides for Beginners and Intermediates
Reviewed By: Joseph S. Romaninsky (Gouldsboro , PA)
I am an "old timer" who cut his astronomical teeth on the Edmund Scientific publications back in the 1970s when I first started observing. I wore my copies of the Mag 5 Atlas and the Edmund Sky Guide ragged from constant use. I had thought they were no longer in print

Edmund's All About Telescopes

This is a classic! I have my original copy from the 1960's... Even though some of the information is dated, the premise and overviews are not. Sam Brown's drawings are classics, and will help step the novice (or expert) through many of the topics covered in All About Telescopes.

The Best for getting to know the sky

I got the Edmund Mag 5 star atlas over 30 years ago. It was easy to use and very valuable in learning and finding basic stars, constelations and deep sky objects. I used it to death.

Forty Years
Reviewed By: Dana (Davenport, IA)
I have used "All About Telescopes" for forty years now. Have worn out two copies and am now ordering my third. It is, in my opinion, absolutely the best Astronomy and Telescope book on the market. It is relevant no matter your level of expertise - from novice to expert. Extremely Highly Recommended!

Great Star Atlas
Reviewed By: Fred (San Jose, California)
I have many atlasas and the Mag 6 is my favorite. It shows the sky as it looks from a dark site. Use a pen and ruler to connect the dots and draw in the constellations. You'll learn the sky and find things easily.
