Their performance so far has exceeded my expectations. I bought the binoculars with the tripod and L bracket as a package deal. You definately need the tripod as these large binoculars get heavy after a while. At night they seem to gather up all the available light to produce clear and bright pictures of the moon. I have a number of old telescopes and a few binoculars 10x50 that I have happily used for years. Once I used the skymaster I realized how blurry my old binoculars were. The skymaster was easy to adjust with the center focus adjustment. It also accomodates reading glasses with the adjustable rubber eye pieces. My kids and I enjoyed looking at all the lunar craters and mountain ranges and were amazed with the binocular's clarity. My only complaint were the tiny , thin neck strap provided. The were so thin the felt uncomfortable and so weak that they might break at any time. Great Binocular package
