I kept one at work and people would always walk by and touch it asking what it was. I am getting this one to replace the one that was sadly stolen from my desk. - Monday, August 25, 2008Love this Item Reviewed By: Cindy (La Luz, NM) I really love this item. I purchased the prism with the light up base and it makes the perfect night light. I have shown it to all my friends and family and they also thought it was pretty cool! I will be purchasing more as gifts. The prism comes in a nice box explaining the history on how they were used on wooden ships. - Thursday, July 17, 2008A light! Reviewed By: Cactus Wren (Mesa, AZ) With the illuminated base, this is beyond doubt the best night-light ever made. - Tuesday, May 29, 2007Great for home or classroom! Reviewed By: Karen (Middletown, CT) We've been to Mystic seaport and been on the Morgan, so my kids were especially interested in this. In the classroom, I set this up in a center, with a notebook to ask questions and record speculations. I started with why is the prism better than having just a hole? Other questions that came up: How many prisms did they use on a ship? Did all ships use them? Did they come in diffrent sizes and shapes? The kids loved this! - Friday, May 25, 2007DECK PRISM Reviewed By: SCOTT MCGEE (DALEVILLE, MS) UNIQUE, COOL, A PIECE OF HISTORY. |
