Doesn't work

My daughter and I purchased this item to demonstrate the usability of solar energy for a science project at here gradeschool. After days of frustration we finally put it away. This item cannot power any of todays electronics contrary to its advertisement. I checked output with a standard multi-meter and found it never provides output to the specified range - always much lower.

Good idea and clever design, but doesn't seem particularly useful. After 3 days, it still hasen't charged up 2 NiMH AA batteries, The AC charger will bring them up in 2hrs. Not recommended.

It puts out good power, but it didnt recharge my batteries.Plus I can't find anything to run with it.

I ordered this product on 23rd April (via Google check out) and received on 27th April.Their response is amazing. The product is winner all the way.I have longed for solar panel for many years but could not find a suitable/cheap one. This product is versatile and good.I can charge my Nokia cell phone with it.It has small form factor,universal adapter plugs and the winning point is its price.In 3o$ i can not ask for more features.One more point,it has provision for battery charger.

This solar panel is great. It can charge almost everything with a car charger, just attatch the alligator clips to the terminals. It has a built in chamber for 2 "AA" batteries, and the light only goes on when you are using this. Overall, great!
