My kids enjoyed getting these and trying them out. The glass was very thin and seemed that it could be a bit dangerous for a child. We have kept them in their boxes - Tuesday, August 14, 2007Didn't last long Reviewed By: Linda (Brunswick, GA) I bought this for my classroom, but it didn't even make it to the first day. Someone must have put it down too hard, because now it has a crack and no longer works. It's leaking. Really cool, but you have to be very careful with it. - Sunday, June 15, 2008Great but too fragile Reviewed By: Rab (Brick, NJ) Kids loved it but it didn't last long. The glass is too fragile and not good for kids under 7 years old. Fun but waste of money because they break so easily. If you buy these, better stock up! - Wednesday, December 26, 2007Really cool Reviewed By: Sami (, ) I think they are really cool! It's fun to see the difference of speed and bubbling with different people holding them! They're just realy cool and affordable. - Monday, June 25, 2007Science Fair Fun Reviewed By: J (Lincoln, NE) These were fun when I was a kid. I used them for a Science Fair project one year. They were about the same price as they were 20yrs ago...harder to find now a days. The glass is VERY thin and will break by a young child. They do make for fun conversation; and just to watch the fluid bubble up to the top from the bottom by the warmth of your hand is great to witness. |
