I homeschool my daughter (12 y.o.), and her older brothers and dad had to try out the motor as well. Simple to construct and interesting information given in the kit.  -  Monday, April 28, 2008 A Great "First Motor" Reviewed By: Peter Craig (Laguna Niguel, CA) I bought this for my 5 yr old grandson to demonstrate basic motor principles. While i wound the coil, scrapped off the insulation, and read the instuctions aloud, he basically assembled the motor. It's that simple....and it works fabulously.
