Oh, but the magnets are cool. - Sunday, January 11, 2009wow Reviewed By: jason (north wales, pa) only way to get better gas mileage is glue a bunch to your front bumper and stick to the car in front of you... Really, one of these saved me big time... dropped a bolt behind a pulley when I was finishing a power steering pump install. the bolt was jammed and a weaker magnet on a telescoping mast did nothing, so I used this magnet and it pulled the bolt right to it... absolute lifesaver!!! - Saturday, August 22, 2009Whoa! Reviewed By: Gary (Austin, TX) If you're looking for some seriously scary magnets, look no further. Thank Faraday for the Inverse-Square Law! - Wednesday, October 07, 2009Great for scooters at traffic lights! Reviewed By: Jonathan (Los Angeles, CA) If you ride a Vespa, or other motor scooter, you may find that those sensor activated traffic lights don't always see you. This magnet can help. By attaching width-wise to the bottom of your vehicle and positioning the bike over the sensor circles in the pavement, these magnets will provide the magnetic field, which a larger motorcycle or car normally provides, to trip the sensor and activate the traffic light change. It's a real time saver and it works! - Sunday, June 24, 2007Highly recomended for any toolbox Reviewed By: David (Cedarburg, WI) You'll never know when you'll need a magnet. I use this version to determine the negative lead of poorly marked J-thermocouples. Mundane application but worth every penny! |
