But,good ole' gramps SEWED it.... - Wednesday, October 22, 2008Surprisingly Resilient Reviewed By: Sir Fillipo Aswaldo II (Cincinnati, OH) This is a surprisingly resilient and versatile toy given its size and what powers it. It has been able to knock over most block buildings in under 5 attempts, which is why I bought this toy. I am constructing successively larger buildings to gauge this tank's full capabilities. The one thing it seems to lack under certain conditions is good traction, although this was only observed on surfaces such as down comforters and pillows, in which case this is to be expected. Tile has not been tested yet, nor has earth, grass, or sand, although I expect the traction on those surfaces to be good. The strength however is excellent especially for the power source used, and the gears do not skip and thus will have good longevity. The toy is fun to assemble with clear instructions by way of illustration and requires the consumer to provide only batteries, a pair of scissors or a model razor, and a screw driver (smaller size recommended, some of the screw heads are tiny). A good all-around product with a variety of applications, one of which happens to suit my needs almost exactly. |
