The information says the tadpoles should start becoming frogs in 4-6 weeks. It also said it was large enough for 2 frogs. However, 7 months later they were STILL tadpoles. I was VERY disappointed. I ended up buying an aquarium and added some really big rocks and things, and only then did they start to change. Northern leopard frogs are what you get, and if you google for information on them they are highly sensitive to their environment. Basically the frogplanet wasn't appropriate for them at all. Once in the aquarium, 4 weeks later, I now have 2 adorable froglets. I still have to change the aquarium to be 1/2 land and 1/2 water, and I think they will then be pretty happy frogs. I waited a whole year and they never came then they cam november of 2008 and lived for about 5 months and then they both died in january in a matter of three days and they never morphed into frogs or anything like frogs they stayed tadpole and i was upset when they both died  -  Sunday, December 14, 2008 Mr. Reviewed By: Lance (Etowah, North Carolina) Bad experience for us. First set of tadpoles were shipped just before a holiday weekend during cold weather. They were both dead. Second pair arrived fine but never changed. One Tadpole died after 8 weeks. The other died (still a tadpole) after about 10 months.
