I purchased a set of the 40mm x 50mm (4cm x 5cm) panels and just one panel will power a small electric motor with a load on it. The panels are extremely light sensitive; even late in the afternoon/early evening the panels provide enough power to run a small motor (albeit in clear, sunny New Mexico at 7,600 ft). One word of caution, the panels are VERY thin and flimsy; I broke a small chunk off of one panel when I used Scotch tape to attach a thin wire to it. The delicate panels must also be soldered and the directions to do so are not very clear. If you are looking for the best power to size ratio this is a fantastic buy; if you are looking for something a little more durable or easier to work with look elsewhere.
