My sample had a beam that was off of the instrument's axis by about 3.7 degrees. That is not much of a problem as a pointer, but may be troublesome if used in an optical instrument. - Friday, May 02, 2008great fun with cats Reviewed By: joseph head (monclova, ohio) we have cats and use these to play with them--really a hoot they love them and we do too - Saturday, September 27, 2008Excellent for lectures Reviewed By: Jim Thomas (Port Jefferson, NY) This is an excellent laser pointer and it has terrific battery life. It is a class IIIa laser which is perfect for lecturing in small and medium sized lecture halls. A green laser is better for very large auditoriums but a green laser is also very inefficient and has a very short battery life. This laser pointer is red and is ideal for class rooms and lecturing before 100 people, or more. The batteries will last for years under normal lecture hall use. - Monday, June 08, 2009Great little laser Reviewed By: John (Stratford, CT) I use this little laser in my science class, not only as a pointer but also to demonstrate refraction and interference. For the money, it's a great little laser. Metal body, bright beam and good battery life. |
