Cool Idea
Reviewed By: Alan Parekh (Winnipeg, MB)
UV Sensitive Beads are fun to play around with, it is interesting to see that there is no UV light present in indoor light and there it lots available in natural sun light. There are so many possibilities, bracelets, secret words with letters made of different colored beads, kids guessing games, etc. On the label it shows pictures of blue, orange, yellow, pink and purple beads. But the bag of beads didn’t contain blue and orange beads so don’t expect to get a variety of all colors. Thanks to Edmund Scientific for providing the beads. http://hackedgadgets.com/2007/06/09/uv-sensitive-beads/

Handy!

Does what it says as it VERY quickly and solidly change colors when exposed to sunlight. Very sturdy...neat! I've threaded several, strategically, onto my keychain to act as buffers between keys and other keychain objects while also serving as pretty science demonstrations every time and go to and from my car.

Mr. Engman's POW
Reviewed By: ChristianBulldog (Mount Vernon, WA)
WOW! These are really cool! My Physics Teacher gave them out for our class to experiment for our Problem Of the Week. (POW) yea, they were great. After writting about what I had found out, i looked them up and found other interesting facts and the real truth about why they do what they do. It was fun messing around with them, I enjoyed it!
