Depending on the size of your crabs, you need several inches of sand for them to bury themselves. This is too small for more than 1 crab and it is essential that you have more than 1 crab. you need to provide water and salt water for your crab and there is not enough room for that. You also need to have a heating pad, thermometer, and humidity monitor in your habitat. Young children make crabs nervous and they pinch when they think they are falling. Crabs are also nocturnal. This looks like a good home for one pet
