This is an excellent design and floats very well on a calm evening. A hot fire makes a big difference in how high this goes. Try to let it float free and offer prizes to whoever brings it back..

Very terrific way to learn about hot air ballooning! My first one was in 1973 when I was 12 yrs old. I later started building larger tissue paper balloons, and then was so thrille with ballooning, I took lessons, and then got the real thing, and was a balloon pilot for several years. Thanks Edmund!

Great Fun

This Hot air balloon works pretty good. Of course it can only be flown early morning or late at night. The air outside of the balloon has to be pretty cool for the hot air inside the balloon to rise. It won't fly during the hot hours of the day
