Wonderful scientific toy. It's useful to explain some physics to my children at school. Better to fill it with demineralized water in order to avoid both carbonate stains and the growth of unwanted microorganisms after long period.

4 year old loves it

I have always loved the drinking bird. Thought my almost 4 year old would like it. He is fascinated by it. Actually, so is everyone that sees it. It works great and is small enough to move around if need be. (ie the little one likes to look at it, but I don't want to keep it at his level all the time - water spilling everywhere from not so gentle hands.)
