The Motic Digital/Analog Research Microscope is an all-in-one image capturing and analyzing system that features the infinity color corrected optical system and is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel resolution digital camera that transmits microscopic images at ultra high speed through the included IEEE 1394 firewire cable system to your PC.
For comfort, visibility and ease of use the microscope is loaded with features. The ball-bearing mounted reversed quintuple nosepiece has a ribbed grip for easy rotation and is positioned closer to the microscope for easy access to the specimen. The slot-in centerable Abbe Condenser offers maximum flexibility. The Koehler illumination system uses a 12V/20W Quartz halogen bulb that provides bright, even illumination at any magnification. The mechanical stage offers a rectangular 140mm x 135mm surface area; 78mm x 50mm cross travel range using low-position coaxial X and Y motion control knob on right hand side; detachable specimen holder and scale graduated to 1mm with vernier reading to 0.1mm.
Also included is Motic Images Advanced* software. This next generation version of the powerful Motic Images software available on all our Boreal Digital Microscopes takes digital imaging to a whole new level. With it you can apply different processes at selected regions of a captured image, divide conglutinated items into separte ones, perform precise measurement of various shapes, combine images of a specimen captured at different focal depths to form a full focus image for better examination, view 3D models of 2D plane images, transmit real-time images across the internet and much more. You can even generate reports with images.
