Fundamental flaws

I would rate this learning toy highly were it not for two fundamental flaws. First: They paint big glowing globs on major stars but do it so imprecisely that it simply destroys the value of the device. Second: the glues used to combine the hemispheres crazes the plastic and obscures the equatorial stars. If I could get these unglued and without the glowing globs, I'd buy a ton.

cool but hard to use

This is a pretty cool toy, excellent for reference to see where a meteor is at the moment.it has a cool effect, but only if used in a very small square room.if your in a big room, you wont be able to read it. It comes with a neat little meteor shower, and planetary position chart, and a cd that tells you about all of the constalations.
