This gadget is well-made and produces a pleasant galaxy of colored flecks moving around the room. In bright sunlight it works very well but sometimes needs a little nudge to start if the sun is weak or at a bad angle. The suction cup attachment holds well to the glass. The safety string I added has not been needed so far.
The flat crystal is quite lovely. However I obtained a spectacular improvement by replacing this crystal with a 40mm round faceted ball obtained from another source.

In our area we have been under what the weatherman calls a"perma cloud" condition.What few peaks we have had at the sun have made a very nice color display throught our room.
