Electronic Circuits Using the IC Chip

After working through the experiments in this kit, students will have acquired a solid understanding of the applications and functions of the integrated circuit chip.

They will build an LED flashing circuit and variable LED flashing circuit; construct a light-sensitive alarm and liquid-level indicator; design short, long and variable timers; put together 2 level flashers and a slow fall alternative flasher; and much more. Students are also encouraged to experiment independently.

Kit includes enough material for 32 students working in 4 groups of 8. Comes with teacher’s manual. Each kit Includes: 12 resistors, 4 capacitors, 1 red LED, 1 green LED, 1 clear LED, 1 LDR, 1 transistor, 1 diode, 1 breadboard with IC chip, 1 switch, 1 variable resistor, 1 quad “C” battery holder and wire. Note: 20 C batteries (4 per kit) required - not included.
