Fiber Optics Demonstration Kit

This Fiber Optics Demonstration Kit is a complete curriculum for teaching the principles and techniques of fiber optics. With this kit, your students will be up-to-date on the latest fiber optic technology!

It includes two levels of prepared curriculums which can be tailored to meet your lesson plans. You'll be able to demonstrate digital & analog communication, duplex data transmission, photoelectric sensors, fiber cable attenuation, and fiber polishing and terminations. The curriculum also allows students to participate either as individuals or in teams.

Each complete kit includes: 2 lab demonstrators, 6 electrical interconnection leads, 2 power supply leads, 2 audio interface leads, 2 pairs of 1m and 3m fiber cables, 2 duplex fiber cables, an AC power supply, 600 grit and 3um polishing film, and a comprehensive manual.

The manual covers the history of optical transmission, fiber applications, the basics of optical fiber, discussion of component technology, references materials, and glossary.
