THE BINARY WATCH - TECHNOLOGY AT IT'S FINEST
Reviewed By:
Joshua D. (Clewiston, FL)
This is one of the best pieces of technology has made yet. This watch displayss time in binary format. It uses LED lights to display time. Need I say more?! Okay, I will. The watch face contains 10 red LEDs that are used to indicate the numbers of the binary sequence (1,2,4,8,16, and 32) and the values of the lighted LEDs are added to determine the time. There are two rows of LEDs - the top row for the hours, and the bottom row for the minutes. With a little practice, you cam learn to read this time format easily. Won't it be fun the next time some asks you "What time is it?", you can enjoy their bewildered expression when you flash your wrist exblazoned with glowing binary!
This watch has a soft leather band, a circuitboard watch face, and steel back and casing. It is water resistant up to 3 atms and comes with batteries.
The LED Binary Watch has these Features.

Ice Breaker Watch also Relieves Stress
Reviewed By:
Steve L (Cedar Hill, TX)
Wife gave me this watch out of the blue one day. Why? She said I know only one person who would wear such a watch. I wore my regular watch too the first week, to check my time. Now I admit it's the best gift I ever got. Nearby persons can hardly resist asking about it. Making new friends was never so easy, with this ice-breaker for conversation. I used to check my former LCD-day/date/stop watch 500 times a day. Now I only check time a few times, and my lifestyle is much less "stressed out". I've had this watch about a year now, but I just found out today that Steve Wozniak wears this watch too. The "Woz" has been one of my heroes ever since he invented the Apple computer.
I have to mention the leather strap -- it's way upscale from what you've ever seen before. There's even a 0-1 binary logo on the buckle.
In short, if you want to change a shy, but inner genius almost geeky person's complete life style, give him or her this watch, stand back, and "watch" the make-over from ground-zero to one-deful, in classic binary fashion.

LED?
Reviewed By:
PolarBear (Manville, NJ)
This watch seems to suffer the same deficiency that every binary watch I've found so far has. LED? Does any body remember the first digital watches that had the red LEDs? There's a very good reason the entire industry switched over to LCDs. LCD take much less power. That's why LEDs only stay lit for a short time after pressing a button. Keeping the LEDs always on would kill the battery to fast. Which begs the question, Why are all the binary watches available all LEDs.
