Ideal for star pointing, emergency signaling, br>
This powerful laser pointer emits a fully visible beam of light. Follow the beam directly to a target and you’ll be amazed by its strength and clarity.
Because of the extreme intensity of this laser, multiple safety features are included - a key switch, emission indicator and aperture cap.
Requires two C batteries, not included.

FAQ's on Our New Generation Class IIIb Lasers
(Q) Is the diode in the laser rated for 75mw? I know that some laser diodes are overpowered by modifying the circuit board. This will dramatically reduce the laser's lifetime and will require that the laser is not used for longer than 10 seconds at a time. I want to avoid this.
(A) The diode is a class IIIb so it is rated at a maximum of 500mW. The actual power is 400mW (80%) and there is no modification of the circuit
board.
(Q Is the button on the laser momentary or constantly on or off?
(A) Momentary. Constant on, is considered "unsafe" and usually not within safety specs for FDA approval.
(Q) What exactly is the beam divergence?
(A) The *beam divergence* of an electromagnetic beam is best explained at the following sources:
(Q) Does the laser come inside any kind of case or holder?
(A) Yes, standard foam case with batteries is included.
(Q) I noticed your site says <75mw, does this mean it will not be exactly 75mw but slightly lower?
(A) Actually, it is >75 which means the output will generally be slightly higher.
