Grab a piece of the cosmos with a natural nickel/iron meteorite from a more recent find in Campo del Cielo, Argentina.
Meteorites are always named for the place where they were found---usually a nearby town or geographic feature. These classic iron metoerites impacted in a closed forest in Argentina, where the environmental conditions (no standing water and rapid burial) have preserved their excellent surface quality and character.
Each specimen is approximately 1" x 2 1/2" (320-380g) and is very dense for its size. Comes complete with acrylic display stand.
