The Stirling Engine was first produced in the 1800s as a non-electric fan and an automatic hot-air water pump. It soon became obsolete due to its lack of sufficient power when compared to the newly developed combustion engine. Now, it is being re-examined as a practical source of power because of its adaptability to almost any fuel.

We suggest you use denatured alcohol for clean operation of this engine. The book Stirling Cycle Engines by Andy Ross and an owner’s manual are included. Measures 18 x 11 cm.
