A full color chart for teaching the principles and applications of spectrum analysis.
Unit is approximately 27" wide x 47" long, and is printed on heavy chart paper with a varnish over coat.
Features: the electro magnetic spectrum and the portion occupied by the visible spectrum; emission or bright line spectra of ten elements; solar spectrum and Fraunhofer lines; Doppler effect; absorption spectra of solutions.
Line drawings illustrate the methods of producing various spectra and practical applications of spectrum analysis. Scales under each spectrum show wavelengths in Angstrom units.
