A full color chart of the solar spectrum on heavy chart paper with varnish overcoat.
The most prominent Fraunhofer lines and their wavelengths are shown in Angstrom units. These lines are used as reference points for determining indices of refraction of glass and liquids. Includes metal binding strips with hanging tabs that can be removed for framing. Measures 10.5" x 28".
