Relive the Mission from 1985!

The Leasat 3 satellite was launched in the 1980's to improve global UHF communications for the military. Unfortunately, the $85 million craft experienced an electronic systems failure after launch, leaving it uselessly floating above earth. Four months later, a rescue mission was conducted by the Space Shuttle Discovery STS 51-1 to repair the satellite.

You can relive this rescue mission with your very own die-cast Space Shuttle Discovery complete with two satellites and a Shuttle Astronaut. You can even open the shuttle bay doors of the Discovery and position the Manipulator arm! Don't forget to extend the landing gear before you land.
