Made from sturdy ABS resin with nylon-plastic gears and handle, it produces approximately 200mA of usable current whose polarity can be reversed by simply reversing the rotation of the handle.

Directly generates 5 volts of DC current with hands-on student effort. When charged by a low voltage power source, it acts as a motor.

Two generators may be coupled together and one will power the other.
