The Konus Youth Microscope functions as a zoom microscope, viewer, wall projector, paper projector and camera attachment. Its durability makes it a great first microscope. The microscope itself has a metal body and it comes with a rugid carrying case.
The Konus Youth Microscope Set features zoom magnifications of 100X-200X, 300X-600X, 600X-1200X. It includes 81 accessories including a microtome and directions to make slides for your own experiments. It can be illuminated with a mirror or with light. A microtome is used to make thin sections for viewing by the microscope.
Small parts included. Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

Some of the parts do not fix well. The power levels are too high for the amount of light the bulb produces which makes for very dark images. The screen and projector attachment does not work well do to the low power of the light bulb, makes it almost impossible to see images on the screen. Read More Reviews |
