Mechanical Ostrich

The Mechanical Ostrich is a 2-legged walking robot sure to provide hours of fun.


Motor rotating power is transferred to the legs via crank plates to make the ostrich walk. All parts are transparent, providing a peek at the Ostrich's internal mechanisms. Assembly is very simple with use of screws and snap-lock parts. Battery and motor placement have been optimized to provide excellent weight balance. The Ostrich requires flat, smooth surfaces to run and should not be used on slopes, bumpy roads or long-haired carpet. The relaxed, long-legged walking style of this mechanical bird will provide hours of fun!


Total length: 135mm. Total weight: 100g (w/ out batteries). Body material: ABS resin. 2 possible different speeds. Includes gearbox, motor, and reverse switch. Requires one AA battery (not included) which provides a continuous running time of 1.5 hrs.
