This glowing red stone is the gem of desire, passion, courage, and emotion. It is the red variety of the mineral corundum and is known for its hardness and durability (second only to diamond).

Fine rubies are relatively scarce, and are mined predominantly in Southeast Asia. The July gemstone. Only available in 3mm round stones for this collection.
