refrigerator magnet table falls short
Reviewed By:
Robert Young (Tetonia, Id)
The magnetic periodic chart falls far short of expectations. The product description does not include a statement about materials or thickness. We are invited to use it as a learning aid and a refrigerator magnet. The thickness is less than 1/32", not your basic refrigerator magnet. The element squares are apparently die-cuts on a flimsy plastic sheet magnet upon which graphics are printed. Care must be taken when separating the squares to prevent ripping the graphics from them. The squares curl when separated from the sheet and will not lie flat. The vary idea of constantly shuffling the element squares invites ruining the colorful images they bear. Had I known all of this I would not have ordered one. What was expected is something more like magnetic Scrabble tiles.
