Outdoor & Indoor use!

We also bought this clock to use outdoors by our pool. We have had it on the wall under the patio roof for the past two years and it has been very accurate for time and we have yet to replace the batteries in it. The hygrometer and thermometer are pretty accurate, although the wall it is mounted on is under a roofed lanai. The proximity to the pool does mean that the hygrometer reads a little higher than actual humidity. Since this is in a shaded area, the thermometer is more accurate in the summer months. In winter, it is affected by the heat from the wall of the house and reads a little higher than actual outdoor temperature. Our visitors have remarked on how attractive it is. We have only taken it down for hurricanes and when we had the house painted. It works very well!

Not really an outdoor clock

We bought this clock to use out by our pool but when it arrived, the instructions regarding using it outside are very specific (too many restrictions!!) Essentially you would need to be constantly bringing it in/out due to weather conditions. It is an accurate and attractive indoor clock (really cool how it resets itself for daylight savings) but don't count on it for outdoors.
