I bought this as a gift for my nephews. It came with a mail-away form for the ants, all of which arrived alive and well. The kids love watching them in action. A bit hit!

Hit of the School!

I teach second grade in a center city school. When we were learning about insects, I bought the "Space Age Ant Habitat" for my classroom. My students couldn't wait to see how far the ants had tunneled during the night. No one was ever tardy! After school, there was always a long line of students from the other classes. I even found it amazing to watch the ants. This ant habitat is easy to use and helped to bring nature into my room. First-hand experience is always the best. The illuminator adds even more interest to the habitat. I plan to use this habitat again this year!
