Except for the ring magnets, the other magnets are made of cheap plastic with small weak magnets embedded inside. So, the horseshoe magnet is nothing more than a plastic horseshoe with weak bar magnets essentially glued to the bottom. The activity book seems thick until you open it up and notice that it only contains a few "activities" translated into multiple languages. Pretty much useless. Do not buy this kit. A waste of money.
