Glass Water Imp

A fun physics experiment to do at home or in the classroom! To experiment with your Galss Water Imp, simply fill a one liter (or larger) bottle with water. Then place the Glass Water Imp in the bottle feet down and secure the cap. The Imp will try to float but the cap will keep him in the water.

By squeezing the bottle, the Imp will sink to the bottom. By releasing the bottle, the Imp will float. If the bottle is quickly squeezed and released in rapid succession, the Imp will spin! It all happens due to density.
