The LEVITRON® OMEGA™ Anti-Gravity Top is able to levitate in mid-air by harnessing the lifting power produced by two opposing magnets and is stabilized using the gyroscopic effect that is produced by spinning.
The longer you practice using the Levitron, the longer you will be able to keep the top floating and learn to perform tricks with it. It's getting to that point the separates the serious from the fly-by-nights. It's amazing to see as it floats freely in space with no strings attached.
The LEVITRON® OMEGA™ comes with complete instructions plus a detailed scientific explanation for the science behind it. The Self-Starter aids the top, helping you get it to spin correctly every time. The Perpetuator is a special electronic drive that creates perpetual levitation.

I've tried to make the adjustments several times over several days, but I haven't gotten it to work yet.
