Galilea captures the moon's many phases through the perpetual movement of a matte black shield that revolves around a detailed serigraphy of the moon, symbolizing the portion of the moon that is in shadow.
A quartz movement clock and a calendar indicate the time as well as the day and month. Made in France. 9-1/2" tall. The movement is silent. Designed by Bernard Vuarnesson.
