batteries corroded in package

I ordered two of these blacklight keychains to help me better detect counterfit bills when I travel to China. One shipped with the batteries corroded which I had to return. The other worked for about 5 days on one set of batteries and about 7 days on the second set. What a jip.

Not as pictured

The product shipped to me was a uv light, but of completely different construction, it's a flat thumb like shape with a bare bulb on one end, not a cylinder style as pictured.
