Power Supply Kit

An overload-protected, solid-state power supply you build yourself!


Specially designed for low voltage DC applications, this overload-protected, solid-state power supply provides a continuously variable output of 0-15 V, DC at 300 mA, full load.


As an extra-added bonus, you'll also gain a first-hand knowledge of electronics instrumentation and measurement because they’ll have the hands-on satisfaction of assembling the unit themselves. A comprehensive, 23-page guide includes numerous diagrams to make assembly easy.


Divided into three sections, the guide covers breadboarding, assembly (mounting the circuitry in the cabinet and testing), and evaluation (operating instructions and review questions).


The kit contains a potentiometer, transformer and all the resistors, capacitors, transistors, and diodes needed for complete assembly. Overall finished dimensions are 12 x 4.5 x 7.5 cm high.


Note: You’ll need a soldering iron, pliers, and Phillips and slot-head screwdrivers to assemble your power supply.
