Cute educational and entertaining toy

Besides being a very effective demonstration of electrostatics, this toy is very simple and yet entertaining. My 9-year old son enjoyed chasing the levitating ring and spent several 15-minute intervals playing with it. Soon he was also able to figure out by himself why the ring takes a round shape after getting charged.
Simple and effective toy.
