This biological laboratory microscope features international standard objectives and eyepieces with fully coated achromatic optics. Objectives are parfocal, parcentered and color-coded for easy identification. Illumination is provided by a substage built-in 20W variable intensity halogen bulb with centerable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25).

Stage movement (focus) is controlled by a coaxial coarse/fine knob on both sides of the body for smooth operation. Viewing angle is 45 degrees. The built-in X-Y mechanical stage also features coaxial control for precise systematic movement of the slide.

31117-01 has all the same features as 31117-00 but has a Binocular Head, Dual Diopter adjustments and interpupillary adjustment. 31117-02 has a Dual Viewing Head.

All models come complete with immersion oil, instructions, dust cover, and 6' cord with 3-prong plug.
