Select the in-base light source and frosted glass stage plate to view translucent specimens or use the incident light source and black/white stage plate to view opaque specimens.
The paired 10x eyetubes with 2x objectives provide 20x total magnification. Crisp clear images are guaranteed with adjustable interpupillary distance, diopter adjustment on one eyetube, and coated glass optics. The eyepieces include soft eyecups that keep prolonged viewing comfortable while blocking peripheral light.
The rugged die-cast metal construction and reagent-resistant finish mean long life.

The one complaint we have is that it enlarges too much. We need less magnification for dissecting and there does not seem to be a way to order different lenses to decrease the power.
