It has automatic tuning and ground balance that helps "see through" ground minerals. The VLF is easy to understand with power and sensitivity control and has a trash elminator control to remove most undesirable items from detection.

The VLF Metal Detector has a motion all-metal mode for detecting all types of metal and a treasure meter to determine strength of signal. The detector operates on (2) 9-volt alkaline batteries (not included).
