The tube is graced with the names of Galileo and other famed astronomers and scientists of the past. Its 76mm diameter f/4 primary mirror combined with 15x and 75x eyepieces deliver surprising performance for an instrument so small — both for daytime nature study and nighttime stargazing. The low-power view of the Moon, big radiant star clusters like the Pleiades, and the glittering starclouds of our Milky Way Galaxy are stunning. The higher magnification lets you get closer-in to the lunar surface, and reveals the four bright satellites of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, and many deep-sky wonders including colorful double stars, glowing nebulae and even some of the brighter galaxies like the great spiral in Andromeda.
