A long plastic rod is attached to nylon bristles, which open at your command by simply pulling the handle.
Once you spy a spider or any other insect, point the catcher directly over them, pull the handle, and then release. The spider is kept safely within the bristles while you transport it far, far away.
A plastic cup is also provided for placing the insect inside during transport if you desire.
