Items are shipped from stock, assuring fast delivery to you. We use FedEx, UPS and USPS Postal Service. If an item is temporarily out of stock, you will receive a back order notice via e-mail. The balance of your order will be shipped promptly.
Ground shipments placed before 3PM EST leave our warehouse same day. Your order ships via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, with a 1-6 day arrival time depending on your location. If you require faster delivery, please choose 2 Day or Next Day Shipping. Orders for AK or HI ship via USPS Priority mail or Parcel Post, depending on size and weight. Shipments to US Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and American Samoa) generally ship USPS Parcel Post. Please allow adequate time for delivery. Standard shipping charges are for USPS Parcel Post. We do use Priority mail when possible, and depending on size and weight. Please allow us to 2 weeks for delivery.
For all orders shipped in the continental US. Express orders must be received online by 3 PM EST or by phone by 3 PM EST to be shipped express delivery on same day (2-day and overnight). No weekend delivery. Orders to AK and HI are charged the express rate plus an additional $10.00 to be applied when the order is processed. Please note that express shipping begins at the point when Scientifics Direct processes your order and not at the time that it is placed online. Shipping time may vary, as it is subject to product availability and payment processing/credit approval periods.
Orders to post office boxes are sent via USPS.

Celestron brand microscopes, telescopes, binoculars, and magnifiers come with 2-year limited warranties through the manufacturer. Celestron technical support can be reached at 1-800-421-9649.

If your package arrives damaged, immediately notify the carrier's local office. They will pick it up and return it to Scientifics at no expense to you.
How to Return or Exchange Items:
If an item is defective and you are returning it within 30 days, please send back the entire product, not just the defective part. After the 30-day trial period, consult the warranty instructions enclosed with the item. These returns must be made to the manufacturer. All Scientifics warrantied products are to be returned to:

Drones and 3D Printers may only be returned within 14 days of the date of receipt. Verified unopened purchases are eligible for refund, less restocking fee. Opened product is eligible only for exchange upon approval, less restocking fee. Original shipping and handling costs will not be refunded and the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. A 15% restocking fee will be charged for returns. All technical service occurs directly through the vendor. Manufacturer's warranty applies. Warranty Information is available by contacting our Customer Service Department at 1-800-728-6999. Damage due to improper use or impact is not covered. Only unopened 3D printer filament may be returned for refund or exchange.
We stand behind our commitment to provide you with quality products. Our Guarantee entitles you to receive an exchange, replacement or refund for the full merchandise amount (less any appropriate shipping charges) for any reason within 30 days.

A gift certificate must be the only item in your cart upon checkout. Painted Lady Caterpillars are not included with the purchase of our Butterfly Cages. Scientifics Direct does not provide fulfillment for live insects. This is handled through a third party supplier. A mail order form is included with the shipment of each butterfly net detailing the ordering process for live caterpillars. For an additional fee of $13.49, you will receive 5 live Painted Lady Caterpillars and rearing supplies. This fee includes shipping and handling (inside the continental United States only). Payment must be made by the customer to the third-party vendor, NOT Scientifics Direct.
