Become an Artist with the Power of the Sun

Create incredible works of art using a whole new medium: the sun! The Febo Solar Engraver enables you to use sunlight to customize and personalize wood, cork and leather objects. Using a glass magnifying lens fastened to a hand-crafted piece of wood, direct sunlight is channeled through the glass lens and becomes strong enough to engrave your material.

Made entirely by Italian artisans, the Febo is crafted from ecologically conscious beechwood and other high-quality materials. Its size and curved design make it easy and intuitive to hold, allowing your artwork to increase in complexity with each new design you create.

Start by sketching your initial design with a graphite pencil (graphite makes engraving easier by attracting energy from the sun). Even use some of the included stencils for clean and clear lettering and numbers. Then put on your safety goggles, angle your Febo perpendicular toward direct sun and get started! In no time, you’ll see your engraving come to life immediately after positioning the device.

Starter kit includes Febo, 6 stencils, cotton storage bag and protective safety goggles that provide 100% UV protection. Febo measures 2.4” x 2.4” x 2.4”. For ages 14+.

WARNING: Do not use Febo on flammable surfaces or leave it in direct sunlight. When it is not in use, place Febo in protective bag away from sunlight.
