The mighty propellers of the RMS Titanic were powered by steam engines heated by burning over 600 tons of coal per day. This limited-edition print features an actual piece Titanic coal recovered during the 1994 Atlantic expedition.

Note: this commemorative was limited to 1,912 prints (refelctive of the year of Titanic's sinking-1912). This is noted on the certificate of authenticity (which is adhered to the back of the framed print). However, at the time of production, each print was hand-numbered on the front face of the image with the number 1,911, not 1,912.
