SpaceX Demo-2 (DM-2) successfully launched NASA astronauts to the International Space Station on May 30 and returned them safely home on Aug. 2 2020. DM-2 was the first crewed flight test of a commercially-owned and operated human space system. This ended NASA’s reliance on Russia for access to the ISS. Ongoing NASA missions are scheduled for late 2020 and beyond.
